| Many current consumer products focus on treatment and relief from the symptoms of an “attack” on the human system e.g. analgesics for headache and general pain relief, decongestants for the loosening/thinning of phlegm, or antibacterials to ease a sore throat, rather than prevention/mitigation of the “attack” in the first instance. |

| Technologies or delivery systems are sought that protect the consumer from the onset and/or worsening of symptoms associated with common self-limiting illnesses such as sore throats, colds and flu, when taken during the early stages. |
